Hello!

My name is Susan Baver Mann. I am a Physical Therapist, Pilates Instructor and also a Health Coach. Not only do I love staying active (I go on walks as often as I can!), I also enjoy cooking, trying new recipes, and teaching my two dogs new tricks. In addition, I have a YouTube channel under the same name, Best Self for Health, where I explain in more detail tips and tricks to stay active and healthy, both physically and mentally. Because I have a lighthearted outlook, I have faced adversity head-on and enjoyed life as much as I can. Lastly, I live strongly through the convictions of prayer, meditation, deep diaphragmatic progressive breathing, gratitude, and self-affirmations.

My Passion

In 2001, a business partner and I started a Pilates studio in Naples, Florida, to service the local community. Since we had substantial success, a second Pilates location was opened in addition to our original studio. Because of my passion for processes leading to a polished product, I love introducing others to Health Coaching and other mediums, such as Physical Therapy and Pilates. Undoubtedly, personal growth and development start with looking at the hardest parts of the equation and finding innovative solutions to stick with them long-term. As a result, I am constantly working on my own personal health and wellness habits and behaviors to make a positive change. Clearly, I am passionate about working through the continuum of care to help people feel better, look better, and stay better.

First things first, as your potential new Health Coach, I want to thank you for trusting me with your journey. It should be noted having the opportunity to help others is a role I do not take lightly. I enjoy seeing the transformation as clients discover the pieces of the puzzle they didn’t realize were missing. Because of this, I work with you to establish what your needs are and use behavioral counseling techniques to motivate you. In your sessions, we’ll draw on past successes to believe with the steps used; they can happen again.
